Darrelle Revis made Asante Samuel look like a clown and it was awesome!

I think I’ve made it perfectly clear over the last few years that I do not appreciate Asante Samuel, and everything that he has to say about Bill Belichick. I don’t have an issue with former New England Patriots players having some sort of negative thoughts towards Bill Belichick. Samuel isn't the first guy. We all remember when the angry little elf Danny Amendola called Belichick an asshole, and Rob I was always injured and retired at 30 because I had nothing left Gronkowski never seemed to be a big fan of his head coach.

However, Asante Samuel has been attempting to keep himself relevant by bringing up Bill Belichick at every opportunity he can, even when it doesn’t make sense. He’s almost a borderline stocker at this point, and he doesn’t recognize how pathetic he looks to everybody else. That’s why watching him beef with New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner and retired Jet and Super Bowl champion Darrelle Revis has been beautiful.

It all started when Dov Kleiman reported that NFL coaches and executives had voted Gardner as one of the best corners in the NFL. Samuel’s son, Asante Jr is a great player in own respect, and Asante Sr is best known for dropping an easy interception that would have sealed the Super Bowl and a perfect season for the Patriots. Instead, Samuel allowed the ball to sail over his head and one play later Eli Manning avoided being sacked at least three times and completed the helmet catch, thus ending what would have been the greatest team in NFL history.

Now, I’m not sure what Sir Drops A Lot  has against Sauce Gardner. Maybe daddy’s mad that somebody else is being recognized over his son. Maybe @IDropTheEasyPick_six22 is upset that Sauce Gardner is already more relevant than he is.

Respect to Sauce Gardner, he handled Droppy McDropersons criticism well, and was way more mature about it than I would have been. At the same time, Gardner has nothing to prove to a retired NFL player who chased money and accomplished nothing without Bill Belichick.

If the entire exchange ended there it would have been a great day. However, when first ballot Hall of Fame cornerback entered the conversation, my day went from good to great!

That last tweet could have been photoshopped, but I don’t care because it says what every Patriots fan has been screaming for year's.

Watching Revis lay a verbal beating on Samuel was amazing, watching Asante not know when to call it quits was hilarious. The more Samuel talked, the more he looked like a clown. Asante Samuel has actually become the “old man yelling at clouds” meme and it’s sad and pathetic. Somebody needs to take his phone away and teach him how to knit or paint pottery. - On the other hand, I am writing a blog about him, and people have been tweeting about him all day, so perhaps he’s winning. I don’t know, but what I do know is, Revis made him look like a clown and it makes me so happy.
